Lou Russo, M.D.

Dr. Russo graduated with honors from Pennsylvania State University and Jefferson Medical College. He trained in general surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and in cardiothoracic surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. A recipient of the Resident Research Prize from Allegheny University of the Health Sciences in 1998, Dr. Russo was also awarded a research prize by the Philadelphia Academy of Surgery in 1995. He is a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Russo is board certified in surgery and thoracic surgery.
